Position? How old are you? If you are 5'6'' in high school, you can only play guard, but if you are 5'6'' in grade school, then you can play center!

FIrst of all, it all depends what level you're playing. 5'6 in junior high, you're mostly likely playing guard/forward. High School and beyond .... definitely point guard.
Be quick, get handles, and have a great vision of the court then you'll be in good hands. Also, hit them gym and get ripped for better inside game.

Point guard. Youcan't play anything else. Your already undersiezed at the point guard position. Work on our handle, jump shot, and hit the weights(hard). Being so little everyone, will be gunning for you.

You're very small so you better stick to point guard. If you try to move up you're going to have to guard bigger, stronger guys which will be tough. You could try to be an undersized shooting guard if you're more of a scorer.

Point guard. Distribute the ball, occassionally drive, and beat the tar out of your opponent.
