In Virginia you have to be 15 and 6 months to get your permit, and you have to have you permit for 9 months before you can get your license, so the earliest you can get your license is 16 and 3 months. But the age requirements differ from state to state

15 1/2 for learner's permit, and 16 for driver's license. For CA, once you have your driver's license, you can drive with anyone younger than 18.

well, in Alabama, you have to 15 to get your permit . you can have that for a year. then we you are 16 your license.
but you cant skip getting your permit before your license.
you have to have your premit for at least 6 months before you can get a license. so if you are 16 and you have never had a permit. you have to get that and wait six months befoe you license. and if you are 17 and under yo have to have a legal guardian sign a paper saying that you have driven at least this many hours, before you can take you test to get your license.

Well if you can get a hold of a fake birth certificate and don't have a social security number you can get a license just as soon as you can drive. Most states cross check your SS# with your other ID and if it doesn't match your SOL.
