My PC mouse only works every other time I turn my PC on. In other words every time I turn my PC on I have to reset it and reboot straight away or when I get into windows it doesn't work! Weird I know, any ideas why?

it could be either a faulty port, ps2 or usb - so try installing updated drivers or maybe it's a trashed mouse. Try it on a different pc

Sometimes it just forgets (Microsoft) and simply unplugging and re-plugging-in the mouse will help. If your mouse is plugged into an ISB port on your tower or monitor, switch it over to the keyboard for easier access.

You might need to reinstall your mouse driver. It sounds corrupted.

make sure your connection is good. if the connection is good, try reinstalling. If that still doesn't work, buy a new mouse
