purchased home under land contract four years ago. After Katrina, found out realtor didn't have authority to sell, based upon another land contract with original owners. Now original owners are attempting to evict us from the premises. Have contacted an attorney, but it's going to be a costly attempt to get any retribution. Need to find goverment agency , or news help in what i believe was a fraudulent act on the part of the realtor, or even Mississippi State Board of Realtors

Only the courts can sort it out.
Sorry. It's a civil matter. I suspect you can win.

Have you spoken to an attorney about contingency basis. Costs can be recovered.
Only if the realtor is worth anything.

The realtor can lose their license in any event. At least contact your State Board of Realtors in writing or by phone. They will send you a complaint form.

Hearings are frightening to a realtor. My ex knew the laws.

You had ownership in property for 4 years? If you signed documents and Title information changed in your name than this is going to be hard challenge by previous owners to retain land back especially if you have been making payments on the land. Get yourself a good Real Estate Attorney meaning that this is what they specialize in. Stay away from Criminal Attorney or Civil Attorney because they will use there minions to research this and could cost you time and money. Hope this helps and sorry to hear of your troubles.
