I got this call on my cell phone that from Distinct Advantage trying to send me some promotional stuff because of my checking account. I don't have a checking account. I also don't use my cell phone number for stuff on the internet unless it is for something that I expect to be called about like a scholarship. I looked them up on in internet and apparrently they have been noted for scams and harrassment. I have never had a checking account. It is also said that they charge you for calling your phone. What should I do about this?

I would contact the company and request to be put on their No Call list. It is required that every company comply with this request. If this doesn't work, you can contact your state attorney general and file a complaint.

hi sweetie u can do that by please call them up or mail them to put u on their do not call and do not mail list many leading companies use that facility.in short tell them to add them to their do not contact list
