Ortiz and Pujols probably haven't taken steroids in a couple of years. Yet, if you look at their numbers HGH or some really hard to detect sterioid is in their body. Because both have used them in the past they feel like they have to live up to expectations and will use it in the future.
If they don't they will end up like Sosa, Tejada or like Carlos Beltran who thought he could take a year off of the stuff and still be a great hitter. Some of these guys actually think that steroids/hgh just improve their health and think they would still be great hitters w/o it. Wrong!

stupid people
look at the pictures he has awlays been a 260 pound 6'4 beast. Manny, Ron Jackson, and Fenway can take credit for the quick improvements. If you look at his last couple of seasons in Minnesota he put up his best numbers, which shows he was already a player on the rise when he got to Boston. Minnesota got rid of someone on the incline rather than decline. Take your steroids and shove them up your #$%

No way in the world. He has been the same size since he was with the twins. He is just an incredible hitter that finally put it all together.
