My 10-month old goes to his special pooping spot whenever he poops. He looks out the back door and grunts and sooner or later the smell wafts over the kitchen and I know it's time for a diaper change.

Tell me a funny poopin' story.

I taught my son a little bit of sign language and the first one he learned was the sign for poop. He will be 2 in 10 days and once in a while he will do the sign about 15-30 seconds before actually pooping...not really giving us enough time to get him to hte bathroom, but it is a start.

My daughter poops about 10 - 15 minutes after she gets a new fresh diaper on for the day. I can't wait to change her as she's been in her diaper all night long for at least 12 hours. She usually starts grunting as soon as she gets into her highchair to have breakfast. She has this little vein on the top of her forehead that sticks out and her face gets really red. She, too, crinkles up her nose when she's done as if she knows that she just made a big stink. Ha!

My son used to go into the kitchen pantry whenever he had to go to the bathroom. I would walk into the kitchen and open the pantry door and find him eating a bag of chips while pooping!

when my son was training he would use the toilet to pee. When it was time to do number 2 he would tip over his tonka truck or lil tikes chair to do his duty. I explained to him repeatedly he had to use the toilet. He looked at me so serious and said," Mommy, I did.use the special spot." I laughed so hard. Training him was funny , we managed to get through that. The memories and laughs are wonderful. Kids do the darnest do do...lol

my little brother used to do the same thing, but he hid behind the big arm chair when he did it. He'd wrinkle his little face up like a prune.
