1 yd^2 = 0.83613m^2

ounce=1/16 pound=[(1/16)/(2.204)]*1000gram
yard=36" and sq.yd.=36*36 sq.inch
=(36*36)/(42/42)sq.m.
so ounce per sq.yd.to gram/sq.m
=(1/16)/(2.204)*1000)(42)(42)/(36)(36)
=38.6g/m^2
