I want to buy a cherokee, but NEED to know whats, what !!

Dude I have a Jeep 4.0 High output, difference is about 20 hp and a bit more torque. Nothing you can actual feel. 14 mpg sounds about right so you wouldnt want to use those extra 20hp anyway. Ltd plus a Flowmaster muffler would give about the same hp's... and better mpg's

lots LTD (limited is trim level ) High Output is just that the more powerful version of the engine
MARKETING PLOY MY BUTT the engine has two versions in the Cherokee the early version had less HP than the later HO version no time to research the year ( at work) but i think it was 93-94

none whatsoever, ltd is the spec, high output was the engine, but there never was a low output, its just a marketing ploy, (judging by some of the other answers - it worked) why do you want a jeep that does 14mpg ? mine did..its quick but very thirsty.

oh the fella that said leather is wrong.. that was the stealth (only came in black)

See I think the 4.0 LTD sounds much better go with that one....and you can ask the dealership. they have phones.

4.0i High Output sounds way cooler, go with that one.
