I don't know which legal jurisdiction you are in, but this could be anything in the range of a civil trespass to a criminal trespass. (I'm presuming this dude has no legal right to be on the property - if he is a lawful tenant and is not in breach of any of the tenancy agreement's provisions, then it becomes a little harder.)

If he's been abusive, violent, or damaged any of your property, call the cops. If you're afraid of the repercussions, leave the house to make the call, and don't return till he's out of it.

There are many legal ways of getting him out, and then keeping him away from you later, but these take time to implement. I think you need a more immediate solution. Call a family friend over to show him you're not alone (but don't let any violence be initiated by your side - avoid a confrontation if you can). Call the cops if the situation warrants it. Later, get free Legal Advice (if you're in the UK and if you qualify) on a long-term solution.

Don't be afraid, and most of all, don't let him get bolder by NOT doing anything. TAKE ACTION NOW. Make a phone call, at least.

You can't. Call the police and save yourself a lot of time and trouble. If he has legal residency there (some states only require that someone live in a home for 6 months to become a legal resident of the home) then you have problems that you need a lawyer and the police for. Sucks but thats the risk you take when you live with someone.

You mean literally he never leaves? He must get outdoors at least once in awhile. I'd suggest send him for the mail, loaf of bread, milk, or whatever else you can think of, then lock the door behind him. But, in the end, you may have no other choice but to call the police.

Hi,

Whenever you ask a question give your country name and complete status of your boy friend. Have you given him a contract? If yes how many years and is it valued in your country? If nothing contact some elderly persons in your area and discuss this matter and find out a solution. They will guide you or they will kick him out. Or else you can contact police to vacate him. This kind of keeping boy friend in your home before marriage is never happened in our country. Anyhow You have done mistake and I am sure you will find out a solution immediately.

if he lives there and gets mail there he is considered a tenant and legally you cant throw him out without notice. My brother just went through this. What you have to do is go down to your court house and actually file papers to have him evicted. So if he wont leave by you asking him tell him that you will have to have him evicted then i believe this will cost some money to do but not alot.

I gather that you meant that he doesn't want move out. After he left for work, get a mover to help you pack his stuff and move them into a truck to be sent to some warehouse. And quicky change all your house lock.

Get your new boyfriend to "help" him leave!

Or when he does leave the house, take all his crap and put it out at the end of the driveway, so there's no reason for him to come back inside!!

Good Luck!

Aloha!

You know, this one of the things that the police are for. If you try to get your family or friends to help it could escalate to violence and then they'd get in trouble.

Tell him:
1. You're pregnant.
2. You want to get married.
3. You want him to express his feelings about you and your relationship with him.
4. Tell him you want 4 kids and want to be a homemaker.

This should run him off!!

Through his stuff out on the porch, give him a bill for rent and change all the locks when he is gone.
