I'm 17 but i know professionals that will pierce my tongue without me being 18. and i really want to get it done. i figured if i get a tongue retainer after it heals thats no problem. but the first few days if it swells i can just keep my mouth shut. i dont talk that much anyway.

NOPE. been there, done that.
btw, pros that will pierce underage people without their parents' consent aren't necessarily the pros that you want to pierce you. not the cleanest people.
if you want a piercing, get it done right, or you're in for a world of hurt.

You may not be able to hide it and personally I wouldn't recommend hiding it. But I remember when I got mine done. My tongue swelled so much I had trouble eating and I spoke with a lisp for a couple weeks. If you ended up as one of the ones with a temporary lisp, don't you think your parents would notice that something was different?

keep your mouth shut just dont try to open much when you talk or eat ! 1 way or another your mom and dad is going 2 find out! thats 4 sure

I got my 1st when i was your age and i kept it from my mom till i was ready to tell her about 4 months later and i just had a pink ball on a silver bar and she didnt see it but i dont suggest it wont you treat yourself to it for your 18th birhtday insted

well that's kinda hard. one day your parents are gonna find out. maybe when you're eating dinner or laughing. they'll probably be really mad at you so just wait until you're 18.
