Photoallergic reactions occur when the sun's ultraviolet rays trigger an immune system response to medications.
Some of the medications that may induce photosensitivity include the following:

Antibiotics, such as the tetracyclines and sulfa drugs
Antihistamines, such as Claritin
Birth control pills
Blood pressure medicine
Cold and allergy medications
Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as Advil, Nuprin, Motrin (ibuprofen), and Aleve

Cheers

I don't know that I would call it an allergy, but certainly you are sensitive. And there is a condition that causes excessive sensitivity to sunlight, that's passed on in genes. I forget when, but there was an article posted in Reader's Digest a few months ago about it. It's titled 'Children of the Night'.

I hope this helps!
