The way I did it was to exercise [without overdoing it] while eating normally. It was suggested by my doctor and really helped my metabolism normalize itself.

It will take awhile. After starving your body, it's going to want to keep everything it can in case you try to do this to it again. It will just take awhile for your metabolism to even out as your body adjusts to a normal amount of food.

Talk to your doctor about this, this is a medical issue so I wouldn't rely on remedies found on here!!

Real easy. EAT EAT EAT. You must eat and take alot of vitamins. I had bulimerexia. It is a form of both anorexia and bulimia. I didn't eat and when I did eat I pinged and purged. It is a very unhealthy way to live. You must seek counseling immediately. If you are young having anorexia can permanently screw up your internal organs. I always have kidney problems as a result of my sickness. I beg you to please get help. It is a very unhealthy way to live and must seek assistance and getting well.
