I'm sure that the Iranian people are great people, I've heard that many Iranians have very pro-Western sympathies, but for obvious reasons, are not able to express those sympathies. The government however, is another story. I think that president is nothing but pure evil.

I think the Iranian government is playing a dangerous game with the world. They are challenging the United States to take action against them. While I hope this doesn't become a necessity, I fear it might.

I think the Iranian people are probably like most people around the world. Honest hard working individuals who are just trying to get through their day.

Pres. Chimp: Apparently you either weren't alive or slept that through little thing in 79 - 80. You know where Iranian militants held American Citizens hostage for more than a year. With the express consent and protection of the Iranian government. Nice try clueless!

The Iranian people are much likened to those living under the regime of the Soviet Union: they want to live their lives in peace and be productive human beings. On the other hand though, they have an absolutely fanatical and fascist government that are a threat to world peace, and indeed human existence in its entirety. Ahmandinejad is nothing more than a modern day Adolf Hitler -- and he must be dealt with in the same manner.

Government- Crazy and dangerous, full of hatred and malice.

People - Just like everyone else in the world trying to make ends meet.

Applies to many countries, but Iran is extreme.

Pres. Chimp up above has forgotten about Iranians taking over our embassy there for 444 days. And the command for all Muslims to kill Salmon Rushdie for writing a book. Too long ago for his memory? Perhaps.

The Iranian gvt. was freely elected. Too bad its strict fundamentalist, but thats what the voters wanted. If it was my choice it would be a more flexible gvt, and would not have a nuclear program. From all I have heard, the Iranian people are real nice, and that is from a friend who worked there for several years. I wish Iran and its people good luck!

I think people who compare a president to a monkey are idiots - then again, that's no different then the leadership of Iran calling Jews the descendents of "apes and pigs".

The Iranian people need to overthrow their government - and I will support them 100% in those efforts.

Iranian people and government are fine, they have never attacked America or even threatened America and all they want is respect. I just wish the stupid fascist Bush would stop provoking them.

The Iranian people are wonderful friendly and hospitable.
But flushing their Govt down the toilet would be doing them a great favour.

I know as a mother of daughters my heart goes out to the little girls that are given in marriage when they are three and it is consummated at 9. I know I feel really bad for the family of the little teen girl that was hung for crimes against chastity. I think that most of the men in that country are sick. I think the government stinks big time.
