I need a GPA of atleast 3 and mine is just 2.5. Is there a possibilty that universities could accept me in in any other way? Suppose i brush up everything and show them that I am good at these topics regardless of my GPA..

Depending upon the university, they might let you in on academic probation - and if you blow it, you'll never get back in. Your best bet would be to go to a community college and take a bunch of puffball courses there and raise your GPA and apply again. And, just for good measure, you might want to take a couple of required ones as well since if you suddenly start getting a 4.0, the people in the admissions office will look closely at the courses you took. Good Luck.

I don't know the requirements of the university you desire but the best way to get in to that school is...to go to a community college, then transfer. Or you can choose a different school to attend to. You should always have a back up school.

Go to a Jr. College for a few years, get excellent grades and be active in the school to show you're a well rounded student. From there, you may be able to transfer into the college of your choice. You'll also probably save a ton of money on tuition for two years.

Depending on the university, some have an entry exam procedure that you could go through as application. Call the admissions office and see. It'll be tough and you may not get in that way either but, otherwise, you may be out of luck.

You're going to have to go to another college or university and get your GPA up before that university will accept you.

get really good test scores (SAT/GMAT or whatever). Also, if there is an open ended question on the application tell them why your GPA was low. I was sick so I explained. In my interview they called me on it, so don't make anything up...
