Decrease the temperature. It is a known fact that the temperature can often be told by how many times a cricket creaks in a given amount of time. I forget how the temperature is told that way, but the more they creak, the higher the temperature is.

The other way you can stop them is of course to kill them...lol.

You can't without killing them! If you spray ant and roach spray around areas they could get in they will stay outside. The creaking is their mating call. I can tell you are not an outdoor lover. I'm from northern wisconsin, and crickets and frogs "Creaks and Crokes" have put me to sleep many a night!

If they are in your house buy a snake, garter snakes love crickets.

you cant even if they are in your room you still cant find them. i live on a farm ive tried to no avail just going to have to get used of them
