No player that has ever undergone microfracture surgery has come back with their full speed, mobility, and explosiveness. Examples are Chris Webber, Kenyon Martin, Jamal Mashburn and Penny Hardaway. These players were just like Amare, superstars, but it took only one injury to take that all away. Will the same happen to Amare?

No doubt. Even people in the Suns organization were saying he isn't the old Amare. It's sortta sad though. Amare was only, what? Twenty-three years old. At least the other guys had a few years of stardom. Amare only had ONE.

He's got steve nash with him on the suns so it's not a real big deal that he won't be as fast since they'll just run that pick and roll and he'll just dunk on everyone plus he's young so he'll have time to get over it

i hope he comes back to 100% just like everybody. i think he will because his advantage is he has shawn marion and steve nash in there primes and he has barbosa and diaw on the way up so all he needs to do is keep gettin back up there and he will be fine

what you said was true. but his doctors say the injury was not as serious as the others when it was treated so he has a greater probability of returning to his old form. also, he is younger than the others when they were treated. i think he has regained his form as evidenced by his inclusion in team usa.
