I think you can add music to photos in powerpoint, if so then send the powerpoint file as an attachment to your email then when it is opened by the recipient the music will play as the photo(s) are shown in the slide show.

ps. you both have to have microsoft office to do this.

no way of doing it ,even gifs dont have sounds all you may do is grant them a link to an internet site with massive portrait of photo you choose them to verify and positioned mp3 report and set it to autoplay wish this solutions your question

You could use Windows Movie Maker,its on Windows XP but I don't know if its also on other versions.
