Given the circumference of the earth and the total amount of known water and ice it would be physically impossible for a layer of water to form all over the globe covering the entire surface 5 miles thick (above and beyond the current bodies of water already on the planet. Thus, the only contribution to flooding would only be the polar ice caps, not from oceans)
That 28,000 foot deep layer of water would have to materialize from somewhere other than earth's surface. Since it doesn't exist underground or in the air either it would be impossible to come up with a volume of water that is over 738.98 MILLION SQUARE MILES! (That's 139.43-million square miles of earth surface area multiplied by 5.30 miles deep - the height of Mt. Everest)
Along with flooding every square inch of land for 40 days, a flood that huge would destroy almost all life on earth including all land based plants and animal, almost all aquatic life (plant and animal), all insects, many microbes, and would leave the land (after the waters receded) barren and devoid of any life supporting food or drinkable water for many decades or centuries. So, a boat full of animals and people would not be able to survive on land for more than a few days (and much of that would be through eating each other since no other plants or animals would be around to eat).
The biblical flood story doesn't add up to anything possible, real or even somewhat factual. Simple math and know quantities is more than enough to prove that!

there is not any longer adequate water to cover the completed international and all the land. And Mt. Everest became very almost the comparable top then as this is in the present day via a pair of foot! super mattress time tale like Tower of Babel. And no ark ought to be been outfitted sufficiently huge in the present day to hold 2 of all the creatures, much less in Noah's day. and think of roughly it. If the creatures bred then to offer off springs, what might the off springs mate with? Themselves? communicate approximately in bred!

no, it isnt possible. assuming mt everest is the highest mountain on the earth, in order to raise the water level over the entire planet to the *same* level as mt everest, you would need to cover the whole surface of the planet everywhere with mt everests all made of ice to melt to do it. and to *exceed* that height you would need at least one ice mountain to be slightly *higher* than mt everest. but that of course is impossible since we have just said that there are no other mountains higher than mt everest, so even if all the mountains presently in existence were made of ice and melted down it still would not be enough to cover mt everest!

I highly doubt it because all the ice from the Antarctic would have to melt, and the mice from the top of Mt. Everest would have to melt, I highly doubt that there's even enough water on the planet to do that to it. I've seen Mt. Everest in person-it isn't happening.

If you get all the water in the oceans around the world
and you add the frozen water around and in the North and South Pole
Yes, it should be able to flood Mt. Everest and even more

No. Mt. Everest is 5 miles high. to increase the ocean level by five miles, all over the earth, you'd need to roughly triple the amount of water present.

Even if the ice caps completely melted, I don't think it would be enough to flood that high. When they talk about that flooding usually they are just talking about coast lines getting completely flooding. If you want sources, google it. I hope this helps!
