if im understanding your question correctly, you could use a free account on photobucket.com and when you upload pictures there, it gives you HTML to place on other pages. i believe it also allows you to share your album with other people.

i don't know about your own sight per say..but www.shutterfly.com is awesome and they even give you free pictures for signing up and you can add all the pictures you want ..and have a webaddress and email your pics to friends and family and even add cute borders.
