What if you have dual citizenship?
It's wouldn't be like a bumper sticker flag that could be removed when you sell your car or something. Would laser removal be concidered a criminal offence? What if your country changes flags, like South Africa did when the ANC came into power? Would all the people with the old South African flags be ostracised because of the old flag sticking out like a beacon on their foreheads? I suppose some would display it proudly at the risk of being murdered... Hold on - you've just opened a big can of worms here. I would concider it to be my democratic right not to have a flag tattooed on any part of my person. Isn't it bad enough that our mothers got to give us names?

There'd be a lot more discrimination.
Currently I live in Argentina, where many people don't like the British because of the Falklands conflict. 99% of the time it's fine, because by the time they find out I'm British, they've already been talking to me for a few minutes so they've worked out that I'm not so bad:-)
However, if I had to walk down the street with a Union Jack on my head, I reckon I'd be discriminated against a lot more, before even getting the chance to open my mouth!

It's not hypothetic: it's real. Those of us who come from countries you guys in the West look down upon bear our national flag all over. It's a source of pride for us, but for you a reason to engage in xenophobia.

We'd all get used to it after the novelty wore off. Face paints might become more popular as people started to deface theirs, perhaps hats with large brims would become a cool fashion accessory for the young gangster about town.
