I want to know if locusts bite or sting or anything that hurts

No I don't think they do. They are harmless. My brother and his friends used to tie strings around them and "fly" them when they were younger. Gross, I know.

I have a best friend that sweres they bite,but im not positive either,his back yard is infested with locustes though so mabey he does know what he's talking about.

what locust are you worried about in particular?
if it's the cicada no they don't bite they buzz.. and wriggle around and flutter their wings.
they won't bite, they just want to mate and making those sounds that seem to annoy everyone.
i like cicadas.

I thought they did bite; isn't that why they were one of the plagues in the bible?
