You need to dress in a smart evening style but not a formal evening style. Formal evening wear is for expensive restaurants and exclusive parties.
I suggest a blouse and summer skirt with sandles that have a small heel. Wear light makeup and some jewellery. If you don't feel comfortable in a skirt, smart trousers are fine.
Don't wear jeans or a suit. Don't wear very high heels or flats.
Try not to be nervous, be yourself. Listen carefully to what people say and ask them questions people love to talk about themselves and will think you are a good listener. smile and try to give appropriate eye contact.
Good luck!

Wear something a little more conservative than what you usually wear, as well as something comfortable (suit jacket and nice jeans, a cocktail dress). Wear subdued makeup and jewelry, and eat a little before you go in case the food isn't to your taste. Avoid really low cut shirts and anything that could be taken as cheap. Don't wear all black or really bright colors.

Who are you? Roseann? Sorry, dear. Okay, I would suggest a nice dress that I would wear to church, maybe with a stylish scarf. Remember, his boss will be there. Do NOT wear something gawdy, silly or too sexy. You are representing your boyfriend's tastes, like it or not. Look classy , be friendly, and tell your boyfriend how you feel, before hand. He'll help reassure you. Have fun and good luck. Let us know how it was!!

A black dress will be fine. Go for something that looks well-made. Try to borrow an evening bag and jewellery if necessary. Don't spend a fortune - you could even find something in a charity shop - but keep it as your little secret!

Just be yourself. If you try to be someone who you are not, it will all flop anyway. Black slacks and a more formal top are my 'ol faithfuls whenever I'm in doubt, finished off with matching accessories. As for being nervous, just imagine everyone naked and that should make you feel better. Good Luck

You cant beat a classic dress, something sophisticated. Or black trousers and a pretty top if your not into showing leg. You wont go wrong if you remember to keep it simple but still be yourself, you will be fine xx

Wear your most comfortable jeans and a long sleeve t-shirt, it is important to feel comfortable and who cares if you look casual...better to feel better and more at ease than dressed up and on edge.
