I had to wear a uniform all throughout school. I remember hating it, but the reason I hated it was because I lived next to kind of a crappy vocational school where all of these sleazy kids would hang out outside, and when they saw me walk by in my private school uniform they'd make fun of me or the guys would whistle at me and it made me uncomfortable to have to wear the skirt.
Anyway, eventually the school let us also wear uniform pants, and so that was much better.
It's kind of nice not having to worry about what you are going to wear to school, and you save money because you don't need THAT many clothes anymore.

Yes I did have to wear a uniform to school.
The good thing about it is that it equalizes everyone from different financial backgrounds.

I had to wear uniforms too when i was in school... i think it was better for me... because....
1) I didnt have to stress over what to wear the next day
2) I spent less on dresses and kept my money buying better stuff
3) I really thought i belonged to a distinct community

Yes from the age of 5 to the age of 18... it's great none of that silly classroom competition because everyone is the same.
It's a uniform not a limb amputation... get over it ya silly sausage.

Nope, here in South Africa everybody wears uniforms...
I think its good for discipline. And everybody is on the same "level" then. People cant judge you by what you are wearing..

No I go to your average public school where we wear whatever. If we had to wear uniforms (I'm hearing rumors) I wouldn't mind. At least I wouldn't have to look at guys *** cracks all day.

Good and bad. You never have to decide what to wear in the morning. Everyone looks alike, so no one is wearing the "latest" fashions. Only I find that it stifles individuality. Just my opinion.

Nope, but as an adult I can see the benefit of it more than when I was younger (I am 25). Just think of it this way, you don't have to worry about what clothes to wear to school, just your hair and accessories.

yes i did throughout all my school years and its not bad at all cause everyone has to wear the same clothes.. so there is never no arguments or computation about clothes cause you' all wear and look the same. don't worry about it cause you'll get used to it and it will be no big deal to you.
