To lose one pound of fat with Diet, you must eat 3,500 fewer calories than normal. to lose one pound of fat with physical activity, you must use 3,500 more calories than normal. I would suggest walking about half a mile to a mile each day, and ofter about a week lengthen your walks and start run walking. After about another week and a half of run-walking start getting off of walking and try to run only(at this point you should probably be running about 3 miles)
If you run a 10 minute mile, then for every hour you keep up that pace you will burn 487 calories if u weigh 100lbs, 552 calories if u weigh 120 lbs, 650 calories if u weigh 150 lbs, 748 calories if you wiegh 180 pounds, and 833 calories if you weigh 200 lbs.

Also, while bicyciling is good exercise, running burns more than twice the amount of calories. Running at a 10 mph pace is the BEST way to burn calories (about 625 calories per hour for a 100 lbs person). Jogging at about a 5 1/2 mph pace is great, only surpassed by continuous jump-roping for an hour, cross country skiing, and running at a 10 mph pace

They do not know what they are doing and can tell you things that may lead you to harm to your body. I have seen answers that are complete myths that can lead to dangerous muscle loss, weight GAIN, and just general injuries

First of all I know you want to look great but don't be too worried about being slim, you can look gorgeous without being thin. But if you really want to lose weight you're going to have to do some exercise or else you won't lose anything the right way. Even if you walk for an hour each day or ride a bike, it's better than doing nothing. This will speed up your metabalism. Try eating 5 small portioned meals a day and choose healthy foods like lots of fruits and vegetables. Drink lots of water or even try Crystall Lite. You know eating some veggies like celery or broccali actually uses more calories to eat than it actually gives you.

Make warm water and add one spoon of lemon juice and one spoon of natural honey. Mix all these and drink early morning. But don't eat breakfast at least for two hours after this. I bet you you will get immediate result within one month. You have two months and I am sure you will have an energetic and attractive body. If you want a good shape do Surya namaskar ( a kind of simple yoga) anytime in a day.

well, eat healthy for one. maybe join a gym where you can go for one hour a day. At my gym, we have a steam room and a sauna, wich really helps bring weight down quickly, and the best part is you just sit there and relax, Of course you cant do that alone and expect to lose 15 lbs but it helps. Maybe get some paloties DVD's and do some at home- when I was a little over weight I found that to be the most effective way. Good Luck!!

There is no easy way to lose those few pounds. I am going through the same thing. The only way to lose it is to eat smaller portions, eat healthier meals, and exercise. I also bought an AbLounge and it works wonders. I have already lost a pant size in just a month. You must follow the video and work out on it twice a day. It does work.

Okay, if you REALLY want to lose the weight, you will need to not be lazy and decide to work for it.
Diet: No sugar. No chocolate, cheese or french fries. Meat portions should be no bigger than a deck of cards (4 oz.). Only diet soda. Watered down juice. Fat free milk. Diet ketchup. Pasta portion no bigger than your fist (2 oz.). Hungry? Eat carrot sticks; no crackers or chips. Still hungry? East a banana or other fruit. Water, water, water! So much you think you're going to drown.
Exercise: Swim, swim, swim! Walk with weights in your hands. Go up and down stairs slowly but repetitively. Situps; lots!

The low carb diet. I guarantee in two months the weight will be gone. Go get the Atkins book and read about it. Basically for two straight weeks you eat nothing except meat, cheese, eggs, certain veggies. Sounds good but trust me, it sucks. No sugar, bread, pasta! After that initial two weeks you can add a few carbs and will probably be down 5 lbs. However, if you dont stick to the diet you will gain your weight back. So load up on meat, cheese, eggs, salad and ranch dressing and eat up. Good luck.

Well, I'm on a diet too.
Here's what I do (and trust me, I've seen results)
Eat breakfat, lunch and dinner.
Try to make each meal under 350 calories.
Eat in smaller Portions
Snacks-
Hungry?? Eat fruit.
At the store?? Can't resist that candybar?? Get a diet coke instead. You'll be treating yourself and its low fat too!
Every once in a while if your craving have a freeze pop. I love em and they're only 25 calories!!
And if you just gotta have that cookie or you'll just die-- resist it. Every once in a while if theres no thing else to eat and your craving eat the cookie. Just one. Make it last. Eat and slowly.
And last but not least drink water. It'll fill you up and its fat free!!
And if you want to pig out on junk remember, -- one moment on the lips, forever on the hips.
I hardly ever excersize but once in a while go out and ride your bike or take a walk!

I'll be serious with you.......
1. stick to a protien diet....Chicken fish...as much as you want. 2.Take a multi vitamin everyday.
3. Do NOT eat after 6pm (if your hungry have an apple or some yougurt)
4. Wake up early and either jog/walk for minimum 45 mins (the first 30mins burns all th energy in your muscles anything after that burns your fat)
Im only telling you this coz I have done and trust me, the results are GOOD!

Eat sandwhiches, salads, cereal and drink alot of water. I wanted to lose weight too so I started changing my diet. I would substitute breakfast to eating cereal. Have a sandwhich for lunch and for dinner, have a salad and a healthy baked meal. Try to lay off of the fried foods and its very important to stay off of the junk food. Stop eating chips and stop eating candy. Make sure you drink alot of water too and NO COKE! For faster results, do a 20 minute cardio workout every other day. This can include anything from swimming to dancing to walking.
