He allegedly asked the cop if she were a Jew then went on a rant about how the Jews "started all the wars in the world." He also claimed to "own Malibu," implying that the cops should not have arrested him or they'd be sorry.
The remarks he made were bad enough. But he was already suffering from bad PR because of the "Passion of the Christ" movie, and his father is known as an anti-Semite.
His little weekend stunt isn't going to help his career at all. Even though he claimed to be way "out of control," his blood-alcohol levels were barely above the legal limit, so he knew damn well what he was saying.

When you are a celebrity as popular as Mel Gibson, the whole world is just watching you. He got drunk and said some ugly things. So what!
Now he needs to get some help from a rehab. I wish him good luck. The whole world is watching.

He said something to the effect that Jews were responsible for all the world's wars.
