You may want to go to a gynecologist for a general checkup. Not to worry you too much now, as some women cramp more than others, but extreme cramping is common with endimetriosis. A doctor can tell you more after an exam.

I had bad, bad cramps during my teen years and would miss a couple of days of school a month. It got better when I got older but you can have a condition called endometriosis that can make it really bad. Go to the OB/GYN and get checked. It might be as simple as going on birth control pills. The pill helps tremendously with cramps.
