I love the show and haven't missed an episode yet! I was totally hooked when Wyatt ended up so drunk he had to be half carried into the quarters...

I've been involved in paid EMS for over 14 years and currently work as a paramedic supervisor at a private service, this seems to be the closest anyone has came to showing what our life is really like since Bringing Out the Dead.

I like the medical part of the show but the drama is a mix of The Sopranos and ER. I mean with beating the guy up for money owed and now that Dr.'s mom who is bi-polar.....all been done before. But I do like the scenes where they are in the field doing their job.

I also like the show. Saved shows how many different people are involved in ems. Since there are so many different types of people in ems, it makes the job of being a paramedic so unpredictable. With the job being so unpredictable, the boredom is hardly ever present. There are always going to be the predictable calls, but you never know when something may change without any warning. This show tends to remind me of being at work. Everyone reacts differently to situations and without that, our stories would be boring. Because we all remember certain stories that we will never forget.

Wow...I thought the opposite...but again, I really didn't like Bringing out the Dead.
If I acted that unprofessional at work as the
main character on Saved does, then I would be out of a job really fast.
It does get the medical aspect of the job down pretty well, though. No scenes of the medics shocking asystole..as with a lot of other medical shows :-)
