I lived in Exeter NH in the 60's and a lot of sightings were written about in 'The Incident at Exeter' a very small book about an abduction of a couple named????sorry can't remember......maybe Barbara Hill and her husband???
Anyway, at that time my father's friend was a police officer and actually saw a UFO land in a near by town (Kensington) and he was humiliated for speaking of it and said he would never have said anything if he knew what he was going to face by going public.I trust this man so YES I believe there are aliens.

Either there are aliens or Earth is the only planet in the whole universe with any form of life.

Yes! It would be narrow minded to think that earth is the only planet in the universe that is home to any type of life form. They're out there and one day our science will give us the knowledge to travel to other planets. Whatever the mind can conceive will one day come true.

I think our best comedians were Aliens. Tommy Cooper, Max Wall, Charlie Drake, Les Dawson. Wonderful characters, but you will never convince me that they come from this planet.

Issac Asimov postulated (in book I cannot remeber the title of)that there were likely to be 50,000 other planets in the milky way (our galaxy) supporting life that was at least as technologically advanced as ours.
His opinion is good enough for me.

on a less serious note a friend had a theory that all motorway cones were aliens, sent to destroy the economic life of all nations

mathematically speaking there are definately aliens who are definately so far away we will never meet them
