i'm female and i've always loved cars. I know some about working on them but not everything that i would like to know. I was thinking about taking a college class that taught you but no body else wants me to. my mom said it would be too hard, my dad said all the guys in the class would pick on me, and my boyfriend is afraid that all the guys will hit on me because he said its sexy when a girl can work on cars. because of all of this, i don't think i'll take it. but i still wanna learn. any ideas on how to increase my knowledge without a class. i need something hands on because i can't just read something and learn a whole lot. thanks!

Let's see

Mom said it would be hard

Dad said the guys would pick on you

BF said guys would hit on you.

You said you want to take the class, but others do not want you to.

Who's life is it? If you can pay for the class, and want to take it, take the class. If others do not like it, they can lump it.!!

Mom is wrong. Dad is wrong. BF may be right.

Do it anyway. Fems who know about cars have a HUGE advantage.

You will not have to bat your eyes and pretend to be helpless.
You will not be helpless
You will have knowledge that everyone, male or female, should have
You will not be helpless
You can feel empowerment through dirty hands
You will not be helpless
You can learn how to fix cars
You can impress your friends
You will not be helpless

The list goes on................

My advice(take it how you will), Learn About Cars!

P.S. Shop for BF's
