Do stores such as Mervyn's do alteration of jeans, mainly length alteration?

I generally need alteration of the jeans in the length. Want to know if the stores does it for you.

no, they do not. You need to find someone who does (a seamstress or tailor) or many dry cleaners also do alterations. Ask around your town and get recommendations.

Delia's does. Never heard of Mervyln's before though.

Usually not, but most dry cleaners do.
