I am not afraid to die because my Lord has promised me a land so beautiful no pain no sorrow just a perfect place where I will met my loved ones who were saved. There will be no more death no more sorrow no crying no murder no sorcerers, just Jesus God the Holy Spirit a throne a tree of life a pure river God will be the sun a choir of angels and Golden streets and this dont even describe all that ;lies ahead of those who put thier trust in the Lord and give thier life to God completely. I cant wait to meet my savior face to face!!!!!!!!

Precisely because you don't know what lies on the other side is that people are afraid to die.

People are afraid to die because they have PLANS and want to go on with those plans.
No one knows that lies on the other side of death. No one. Jesus himself didn't come back and stay back on earth.
So death is an unknown except that it is a permanent departure -- and that's scary. La Rochefoucauld in his Maxims has an excellent essay on death, saying it is so serious and inevitable that it is impossible to make light of it.

Because God has put everlasting life into our hearts. Death is not a natural event, we weren't meant to die. Eccl 9:5 the dead are concious of nothing at all. So on ther other side is just darkness, almost like you are sleeping.

They are afraid to die cause they are not ready for it. They have lived all their lives trying to meet life's demand and ignore God or their creator. This feeling prove that God put eternity in every man's heart just as the Scripture says it in Ecclesiastes3:11

As a Hindu i know our religion believe in another birth after this life.
But i don't know it is true or lie because still i am not dead . If after my death i could find another life i will let you know.
Why people scare to die? Because they love to live. They like to enjoy the world and it's circumstances. Because they understand after the death they don't have this life anymore. death is pain; You never gonna meet your mom or dad or your wife or your friends or relations anymore. Thats real scare!
Do you think all human are scare to die? NO! Specially the suicide bombers in Srilanka or Iraq or any other places are not scare to die. Who ever don't like to live or who ever well understand about life like Jesus or Buddha will not scare about death.
Life is real lie.After the Death life is real myth!!

Fear of the unknown
I am not ready, but not afraid either..... mostly because I don't believe in Hell/Sin, but a loving God and living soul that will go on w-o all the negatives ((like pain, suffering, hate, greed, and sickness, ect.)) we have on Earth.

I don't want to die because I am enjoying my life HERE. I don't believe in an afterlife, so there is nothing to look forward to but rotting & decaying.

we are all afraid of what we can't see.Death is as much apart of living as being born.You see,we were all born to die.Thats where free will comes in,live life the way you want but do it right.Cause God isn't a lire

peoples afraid of dying because they want to live life longer even if it is boring.because they never be satisfied what they have they want more.and i believe there is dark and bright thing after life if you believe.
