I SHOP ALL YEAR LONG FOR CHRISTMAS.
I HAVE A BIG RUBBERMAID CONTAINER THAT I STORE THINGS IN AND KEEP A LIST WHAT IS IN IT AND WHO FOR. IT IS JUST EASIER THAT WAY , YOU SEE SOMETHING ON SALE THAT YOU KNOW WOULD BE PERFECT FOR SOMEONE ON YOUR LIST YOU GRAB IT. THIS WAY TO IF YOU FORGET A BIRTHDAY OR SOMETHING YOU KNOW YOU ALWAYS HAVE SOMETHING HANDY.

I guess I start whenever I have the money for it... and usually around Christmas... somehow, I've gotten to the point where I love to shop when the spirit is so big in the air...
If I were smarter I would be like the girls who shop all year for it... but I guess I'm not made to be like that..

I shop as December starts...with no particular order, but you can count on me the very 24th shopping for the last minute, the last present for unexpected added company (in Mexico we celebrate the 24th...).
Every year I promiss to become more organized about it and every year I just add little order but not that much. The smell and environment of a mall in December is incredible!!!

January 2, I catch all of the after christmas sales for the following year.

All year...except my family doesn't celebrate by giving gifts anymore...so sad. I really enjoyed giving the little ones things. It was the sisters in law idea and my mother went along with it although she still gives gifts. I have come to the point where I don't even want to be around my sisters in law, so I am planning a vacation this christmas without my family. I want my children to enjoy christmas. not be harrassed about it.

I might start picking things up here and there when I see sales in October. But most of my shopping is done in November/December.

I do it all year round whenever I see a good bargain I pick something up and usually by Christmas time I don't have to worry about buying anything.

Usually in September. I have to budget. Then shop like a mad woman the day after Thanksgiving!!

I start during the month of July when all the stores end their fiscal year and clearance out all of the summer items right before they bring out all of the fall decorations and holiday stuff! :) So I started about 2 or 3 weeks ago! :)

Start in August. That's the beginning of great sale days at many department stores.
