My brother got me into this game on the computer, and my friend found out about it. Now she signed up but she hasn't started playing yet. I really don't want her to play the game (she'll try to get way better than me, she's a very competitive person), but I know if I tell her that she'll get angry. How do I tell her that I don't want her to play the game?

I'm not moving onto another game. I started playing this game around three days ago. I know I should let her play, but she'll be all about the game for a while, and she'll force me into helping her, which I really do not want to do, since I remember helping her with something else (and it wasn't a walk in the park!).

Trust me, I'm not the competitive one! I just know this game will push her to talk about something else that's better about her. She's the one who will protest against the IDEA of me being on the same team as her (by the way, this game has no teams). But the competitive side of her isn't what I care about most. It's the fact that for once in our friendship, I wanna do something that she doesn't!

And I don't care if she's better than me. What I care about is the fact that she will brag about it, big time.

Sounds as though you are a bit competitive yourself. What does it matter if she turns out better than you? If she is really your friend you would want to be happy at all of her surceases.
Chill OUT !!

I wouldn't tell her at all. It's selfish not to want her to play the game, just because your'e jealous that she'll be better. Try getting over being competitive with her and just play for fun. You don't have to tell each other the scores.

Just tell her, but whats the real deal? You can't be tripping over an online game, if you are you and her need to talk about it cause thats kinda strange.

move on to a different game, or just let her play, why cant she have fun. if she's too competitive, then dont compete with her, just play for fun and stop worrying about her.

Whenever she talks about the game, just casually bring up something else fun to do.

Either tell her or play a different game. If you cant be honest with your friend then dont talk to her about it at all. Tell her you dont play anymore if it bothers you that much.

Just dont talk to her about the game at all, and dont let her know what you name is on the computer then she will never know that its you.

If she is really your friend she will only be mad a little while. Just tell her strait up about what is bothering you
