You can't "make" her do anything. Jealousy is an internal emotion, based on insecurity. The feelings can only be changed by the one that possess them. My "best" friend was very, very jealous of me. For years I "denied" it and continued to be her friend. Finally her actions and "slander" toward me became unbearable. I stopped being her friend. I will speak to her when I see her, yet I don't "interact socially" with her. I tried for years to change how she felt about me. Finally...REALITY SET IN! Change comes from the inside. A jealous person can destroy you; therefore, it is unhealthy to befriend someone with the hating/jealous nature. Bless yourself with a new friend and with self respect. A "true" friend is happy for you, supportive of you; and is always trying to find ways to HELP you, not HARM you.
Peace and blessings!

I M SORRY TO SAY THIS BUT IF SHE IS JEALOUS THEN SHE IS NOT A FRIEND.... I mean friends are those who r happy in ur happiness and success.... i think u should stop treating her as a friend....and search for some new and good people who can actually prove to be good and nice friends... all the best... take care

You could try talking to her about why she's jealous or bitter all the time. If she gets moody, or even hostile, leave the situation alone. You can't make someone change how they feel.

You can't "make" her anything...but you can talk to her (and should) about how she feels and why...what do you feel she is jealous of? Jealousy is born of insecurity...perhaps if you reassured here there was nothing to be insecure about, her feelings would dissipate...
