are there women who dont get their monthly period when they are breatfeeding?Is it normal?

yeah very normal I didnt got it for about 9 months,someone I know dint got it all the breastfeeding period about 2 years

I have 4 children. I breastfed each of them. I did not have a period while nursing the oldest 3. My youngest, I nursed until she was 14 months when she self-weaned. With her, I started getting a period when she was about 1 year old. Yes, it is normal not to have a period while breastfeeding.

It's completely normal. You may eventually get a cycle while breastfeeding but it's rare. Use methods of birth control b/c you can get pregnant while nursing. When you stop nursing you will return to normal after a month or 2. Good Luck!

yeah its normal not to get a period while breastfeeding usually untill around the baby turns 1 or you start cutting back of feedings

Many breastfeeding women do not get their period.

Its normal, why do you think so many woman mistakingly think that breastfeeding is a great birthcontrol method (though not necessarily correct...lol)
