North Carrollton, Lewisville, Flower Mound, and Highland Village are all very nice. There are many elementary schools in those areas, but you should be able to get all the rating information you need about the individual schools from the Lewisville ISD website. LISD services all the fore-mentioned cities.

Hello. Welcome to Texas.
The first person to answer mentioned Brentfield Elementary and JJ Pearce High School, both of which I attended from start to finish. Go Bobcats, Go Mustangs. I enjoyed the schools, including the jr. high between called Parkhill, and it's been several years, but I know there's much better districts and schools. I began at Brentfield in 1979 and finished at JJ Pearce in 1992, on time, but neither very challenging, nor the full spectrum education I could have received in a few other districts, and of course some private schools. If it's changed that much for the better, then great, but i do have a great way for you to find ALL THE INFO YOU NEED, trust me on this, go search online for the May or June issue issue of "D Magazine" where they featured a several page special section that rated the 50 best school districts in and around Dallas, I just read it at my office a few days ago. The mag is just sitting in the kitchen, so let me know if you can't find the article, and I can fax or scan and email you the info.
Also, please take a look at my mother's website, ellengomez.com, where you will find information all about Dallas area school districts, home values, homes for sales, Lewisville info probably, etc.
I am a mortgage loan officer here in Dallas, so if you consider buying a home, I can provide a free estimate, pre-qualification, etc.
PS- I do recall that the top rated school district is Southlake, which happens to be nearby Lewisville.
Best of luck.
How long until I get my 10 points, hehe. I deserve 20. You'll see with that article.

Try looking on Ebby.com for houses. As for elementary schools, if you work in Lewisville, you could live in Lewisville or Flowermound and get a nice house with good schools.

I don't know the Denton area, but Brentfield Elementary in Dallas (Richardson Independent School District) is a Blue Ribbon school, and ranked as one of the top 10 elementary schools in the state. It also feeds into one of the top 10% High Schools in the Country (JJ Pearce).

If you want Denton county, go for Denton, it is a bigger city and the schools are pretty good. Lewisville is nice too.

Carrollton would be really good. the property taxes are low and there are newer homes you may rent. it's very close to Lewisville. The schools are exemplary too.
