My advice is don't. Beauty pageants enforce superficial ideals about women. They want a plastic, tall, thin, big-boobed, big phoney with big teeth to wiggle around across stage, and be for "whirled peas, your honor."
Talent? Oh yeah, I can walk and chew gum. See?
Surely there is a better way to get ahead in this world. Try being really good in school, or very kind to everyone, even the dorks. Try out for sports, or plays or the school paper. Sing in Chorus.
Go to any church that has a really good choir and volunteer. You don't have to believe any of it to get good singing lessons, if the leader has real credentials. Ask.
Once you have taken all you can for free, you will be able to buy some more. With that you can be a kind, well-educated, sweet girl with a great voice. Then you'll have something to share with the world. Good luck!

#1: Eat something before you do anything. I know it's against the Creed of Beauty Pageants, but just trust me on this one.
#2: Maybe for your talent, instead of singing, you can go to a typing class and show how much improvement you've made!
#3: NO ONE LIKES A BEAUTY PAGEANT GIRL.
