Have you ever bought underwear for a female friend? If so, feel awkward or just like buying a shirt

I have bought underwear for a female friend for her birthday. I have also had underwear for present from female friends. It is closer than having a shirt, but it is ok.

It is not awkward in any way.

for my niece for her birthday...she was there and that's what she wanted...no big deal you buy your own don't you
