Only having a Y chromosome - monosomy Y - is not compatible with life, and is embryonically lethal. The Y chromosome is essentially a tiny stump chromosome - it carries very few genes and the X has many essential for life.
Monosomy X however is viable and leads to a condition called Turner's syndrome which is fully compatible with life into adulthood, although people with Turner's are slightly less feminised than normal XX females.

A fetus with only a Y chromosome is not viable. In order to even create a zygote a sperm must meet an egg, and every egg contains an X chromosome. If the egg were empty because the X chromosome had been extracted from it, and a sperm carrying a Y chromosome entered it, it would not develop into any form of life.

The X chromosome is necessary for human development, so I think that the offspring would be aborted.

not possible. a human develops when an egg combines with a sperm. every egg has an X chromosome, and sperm *should* have either an X or a Y.
if there is no X, that means that there was no egg. no egg=no baby.

Y only is not compatible with life, therefore, the baby would die in early pregnancy.
