My son Jeb went out to see what it was, and has not come back. Is this a matter for the authorities?

No man, leave the cops out of it! You need to go join them in the barn. They are having one big party out there and you are stuck in the house. What is wrong with you man? Take your a-- out there and have some fun. If you call the authorities they will just bust all of them for having too much fun, and you will have to bail all of them out of the slammer. You might even get arrested yourself for being an accessory.
