If it was alive then it would take it 3 or 4 jumps to get out but as it's dead it can't jump.
But if it's in a pond it can't jump because water is a liquid, not a solid.

Just directly in the center. now you need to let it be known if it is four foot in diamater or in radius before an answer can be given.
just saw your edit. in that case then just over four feet because the diamter is measured from the center.
