You sound pretty quick, but without your age this is difficult. Runningback or safety would be safe picks, but see what your coach says.

Do not be discourage at whatever position the coach may put you at. The first thing you need to do is get used to organized football. Many kids go into the sport thinking they know everything. Get that out of your head.
Learn the system. Over time you will get the feel of the team and may find yourself thinking about another position. When that happens, consult the coach. A good coach will give an honest evaluation and assist you in your transition.
The key is "learn" and "work".

Kicker or punter
at 5'6 and 150 you'd get killed on the field, so learn to kick/punt, and you can have one of the easiest jobs on the field. You only have to go in for maybe a dozen plays or so.

At that size in the 9th or 8th grade you'll llikely end up as a DB. You could possibly be a WR or RB but you'd have to prove that to the coaches.

It depends on how crazy you are and how old you are. If you're going into high school, you'll need to be a lot crazy and you're going to have to get bigger. If you're only going into 7th grade, you still need to be crazy, but you can probably be a WR or DB.

You should probably play tight end on offense and safety on defense.

Without knowing your age it is difficult to evaluate your relative size and speed. Please elaborate.
