NO! Women can do pretty much anything men can do. They're not limited to being slave cooks. I think that in a marriage, the woman and man should share the job of cooking.

Marriage is teamwork! They should take turns and No I don't think they should shut their yappers. If any husband suggests that then they are not very good husbands because the heart of a marriage is COMMUNICATION! Everything in marriage should be done together.
And to the person that said that woman should cook because men earn the money. Where have they been at for the past 20 or 30 years (at least). There are some marriages where the husband stays home and the wife works. I still think in that marriage that they should take turns with the cooking and cleaning, of course with the one that stays home doing the largest majority, after all they are home all day.

I think that a women should be where they feel the best. I want to be an police officer, not stuck in the kitchen. There are so many possiblities for a woman out there, that none of them should have to shut their yappers and work in the house all day long, unless they want to.

Is it my "place?" No, but it is where I choose to be. I enjoy being a housewife, and having dinner cooked for my husband when he gets home from work. I have worked, and did so for a long time. I even worked while he stayed home for a while. But my staying home is my choice, not my "place." And anybody who thinks that being a housewife isn't a job of it's own isn't doing it right! My husband doesn't really care either way. He's pretty much open on that issue. As long as he is making enough money, and we are not hurting financially, then he's cool with me staying home if I want. It is pretty much always a mutual decision, though. If we both don't agree with something, we usually won't do it.

no. i think nowadays womens become very popular in every sector. earlier womens were at the kitchen to cook for their family. but womens have lot of strength. every women come out of the kitchen to do the good work. they can do all of the work. mens determine womens only for cook. thats very wrong. womens place is not only the kitchen
my husband always tell dont be in the kitchen. think for your best future and work hard to do it. and also when i was in the kitchen everytime he helps a lot. he did not allow me alone for cooked.

Definitely NOT. Women don't know how to cook. Men belong in the kitchen...Women should be out working so the men can stay home and drink beer all day.

Mr. Chivalry says, "A woman's place is in the arms of her strong man. A woman has the skills to cook, but she is not a slave. My wife cooks because she loves to, and she loves to cook for me. I'm not a great cook, but I am learning to do so, so that I can reciprocate to her, and show my appreciation through actions rather than words."
P.S. "I CAN make the best grilled cheese ever though!"

and in the bedroom, and the livingroom, and in the bathroom and in the hallway, and the garage and the guestroom....the kitchen isn't the only place we should be.......the best place is in the hot looking neighbors bedroom.......ummm....changing the sheets.
And as for those yappers being shut.........sex would be damn boring with no noise!

yes. and she should also be barefoot and pregnant. and when she's not in the kitchen she should be cleaning our trailer or taking care of the other 8 kids that we have because hillbillies like me are too lazy to use contraception. then she can go get me a beer.
men and women in a relationship should try to share everything. this means that they should do stuff together. my fiance and i do housework together, cook together, and grocery shop together. it really is wonderful.
also, i am allowed to make statements like the one above because i do happen to be a hillbilly from southern WV
