OK so all I remember is that the song Into the mystic by Van morrison is playing and the chick has short red hair and she had to give her son away or something. I also think it's from the eighties. Please help.

THe movie starred Glenn Close and James Woods. Its about them not being able to have a baby so they find this young girl and take care of her until she has the baby. I think its called , "Having a Baby " or something like that.
The scene your talking about is when the women and the girl are in the ladies house and she notices that Glenn close likes Van Morrison and said her mom use to like that music. So they play it. Its a tear jerker.

Oh thats a good movie her boyfriend is played by keven dillon and the woman adopted the child is Glenn Close. and when they play into the mystic meryl streep dances with the girl who had the baby. In the end the real mother is a beautician i think its called immediate family
