How silly is your job??

Question

Okay, so yeah, I'm sitting here at work, trying to do work while answering, etc. But I want to know, how silly is your job?? Because I have been here for a little less than four hours now. In that time, seven workorders have passed through my hands, and three of them were ones I could not finish because the person generating the workorder didn't include all the information. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the people generating the workorders are engineers, and in my experience with these people so far, they do not have much common sense. It's a good thing I have a stress doll in my desk drawer or I would be punching holes through walls! Anyway, I apologize for the rant. Please share with me the stupid aspects of your job, maybe you can make me laugh! Thank you, and keep on pressing in, it is a paycheck after all!!!

Thanks for sharing....my job is silly too, one of the main reasons I'm an Answers addict. My husband's company relocated us to a new city and so far the only job I've been able to find is a silly one. I pretty much just enter information into a database. It's pretty mindless. I was a manager where we used to live. Now I manage my Answers account.

people eat, leave nasty things on the plate that werent there in the first place, put it in a giant sink hundreds at a time, i wash them n make em sparkly n then they get dirty again or sum jackas$ thinks its funny to throw the plates around like a frisbee so it breaks n my boss is a mothafucker n blames it on me--this is gettin too long.

my job is very silly. I scan papers, then I hand them off to someone else who then looks to make sure I did a good job. Also, people fill out papers then I take other papers and fax them, then scan stuff then hand it off to be looked at, etc. I just pass paper around.

truth is - every job you ever do theres a stupid manager who takes advantage of there sad level of position and annoys you...
only way out is to work for yourself.... no silly business then and no idiot people giving you head pain. x
