when computer switched on and we log into Yahoo we are logged off within seconds with a message appearing asking us to check cookies, yahoo mail session etc. None of these apply as this problem has only occurred the last few days.

make sure that in your messy under pref....that your proxies set up says no proxies ....if it does and u are running yahoo messy new 8.0 take it out of add and remove and go get 1922 6.0 it works better http://www.freecreed.com/ymsgr-archive.html#...if u are using a chat client ....there is a cookie place use the little arrow on the right and change the search for the cookie....also if that client isnt up to date u will get that as well

I had a similar problem and I changed the preferences (as above) to no proxies
this was only yesterday but it hasnt logged me out since
if its a cookie problem you may have to 'allow cookies'

check if it is yahoo and not your mail client which may be set to log you off once mail is collected. if this is not the case, uninstall and reinstall yahoo messenger.
