Not at all. You actually get the other half of the news that CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC etc. won't report.... that being the good news. If not for Fox I would not know about the rebuilding of schools and other great things our boys have done in Iraq. Without Limbaugh I would have a boring afternoon at work. He's informative and a great entertainer.... some people just take him too literally (or maybe he just hits too close to home for them). Without O'Reilly I would not have known about Ward Churchill... whether I agree with him or not. I check in to CNN a couple times a day but I usually fall asleep after five minutes. Mmmmm, nap time!

Rush Limbaugh and Bill Oriely are not newscasters, they are commentators. This means that they are including their opinions in with the facts, and the outcome can be skewed. If you want to have the best overall picture, don't rely on any one source. No matter how unbiased a news sorce claims to be, it's not.

Depends on exactly what FOX programs you watch. The Fox news programs are pretty good, without apparent bias. O'Reilly and Limbaugh are news analysts, so they're not just "here's what happened today" commentators. As such, their personal slant sometimes is apparent...Limbaugh's extreme conservatism is quite evident. O'Reilly is not as obviously conservative...he does try to have guests to speak on both sides of an issue, and he does ask tough questions (which often annoys both liberals and conservatives, since most issues have a negative side that supporters would like to ignore)...and he's often quite abrasive.
Good question...

I think that makes the news that you hear a little one-sided. You don't have to agree with other news sources - on the internet, for example - to look around and see other points of view.
I think a lot of liberals have a problem with conservatives because they feel that people who listen to Rush, etc have no other views - they just parrot what they hear. If you look around, you can think hard about what to believe or agree with. You'll be better informed, even if you still agree with Rush and the gang.

Yes, I think they all basically feel the same way about the issues. Listen to other sides, even the ones that make you want to scream at the TV. Give you a more well rounder view and allows you to DECIDE FOR YOUSELF in a real NO SPIN ZONE.
Ps. Limbaugh is a druggie who spoke against the usefullness of drug addicts like himself.

You need to get a balance when watching the news. Opposing viewpoints, opposing sources. Just because one person says something doesn't make it true. The news is not about truth, it is about ratings and entertainment. And perspective is very important as well.
I don't consider Rush or Bill news. I consider them infotainment or opinion. Very little of what they say is rooted in any ones reality.

They think they know everything. And if someone dares to disagree with them, look out.Limbaugh and O'Reilly are pompous jackasses.I don't pay any attention to Fox news. They put a bunch of leggy bimbos in the chairs and they are eye candy at best. Your best bet is CNN or the national news.Fox is a joke and Limbaugh is a drug addicted jerk who'll make your blood pressure skyrocket.

if you rely on any ONE media source for your political views then yes, you certainly aren't getting the truth. whether its cnn, fox, or any other media...you have to do your own research to get the truth and if you hold politcal views based on anything other than your own research then you are holding views which aren't based in the truth so go out there do websearchs, read and find out what the real deal is on some of these issues, if you do you will find you will probably believe in a little of both sides.

It is not THAT out of touch. However, it is prudent to get news from various sources to compare points of view and facts. If you relied only on Rush, I would be concerned. Bill tends to be conservative but honest whereas Rush is a lap-dog for Bush.
