What does this mean?

In the movie, "2001 A Space Odyssey" the astronaut David Bowman goes missing, in orbit near Jupiter. In the sequel "2010: The Odyssey Continues" he appears on a television set, to talk to his widow and later, in person, to talk to Dr. Heywood Floyd during the second mission to Jupiter to investigate the unexpected orbital decay of the Discovery.

The answers lie in the last two books: 2010 and 3001 A Space Oddessy. I should know I read all three books. But I don't remember the term tonybees though. But the questions get resolved in the last book. By the way it was the monoliths that resurrected Jupiter.

I don't know anything except for that Toynbees is a name, and kubriks is a brand of action figures.
