your bedroom is like a room full of you ,so use your personality to decorate it.
for example if you like to sing put up posters of your favorite singer or put a kareoke machine on display.
like i said its just a room full of you.

Well there are quite a number of things you could take into consideration while decorating a bedroom keeping in mind how you want it to look. i belive good looks always revolve around colour, atmosphere and lighting so if you've got those 3 set up i doubt even a messy room would look 'ugly'. try to chose appropriate colours to go with your interests and furniture. (Dark colours make rooms look smaller light ones make a look more bigger and cleaner.)
Bedrooms should always look comfortable and hence comfort would be your first priority. Since i have no such details into how exactly you want your room to look i doubt id be of much help but there are quite alot of good books around which may help.

but anyway; you can always keep on making it clean,you can put some flowers in a vase on your disk "if you have one",you can put a small carpet on your dor step,you can put some teddy bears and animal beanies "which they are so cute" you can put some on your bed neer the pilows,you can put some nature posters on the wall,creat some new ideas or visit Google and search for stylish decoration,

Posters are ugly unless they are framed, but even then...be careful. I like quirky stuff, like old typewriters hanging from the ceiling. (okay, so I don't have that...YET.) I like to glue bits of broken mirror to my wall. (Not for the superstitious.) It is fun to hang stuff from the ceiling, though. I have paper cranes, and it definitely gets more compliments than any of the other randomly impressive things in the room. Your question would get better answers if it were more specific, though.

Get rid of the furniture and the shag carpet and throw in some sprung maple and you got yourself a dance floor!!! After all, this IS the dance category!!!
